Happy Halloween Elmo Style
Be warned!
The video below is not your regular tickle-me Elmo. The little guy is on fire, not hawt but really burning. Enjoy the freakiness. May it brings out the Halloween spirit in you, whatever that means.

YouTube got themselves a Halloween themed logo for today.
But I am surprised that Google did not have a Halloween themed logo this year as they usually did. Or could it be because mine was directed to Google Malaysia? Anyway, some past year’s Halloween designs. It’s fun to see the transition of the designs from 1999 – 2006. Cool.

*Update. Finally I saw the 2007 Halloween logo. Might be time difference that’s why it was not up.

For your info, all these logos are done by Dennis Hwang or Hwang Jung-mok.

HKFixed is having a Halloween Alleycat Race!

Got tipped off by Calvin of HKFixed.com that they will be organizing a Halloween Alleycat race on October 31st 2007. Damn, it sure makes my adrenaline goes up a little. In order to not miss out on this event, I had already asked Calvin to snap some pictures of the whole event. Bet you that it’s gonna be exciting. Racing through the walkways at night and having to reach 6 checkpoints and completing the task like finding a person and doing push ups. Or buying someone else beer. Loads more.
Go check out their official site to know more.
Currently there are only 10 participants, so if you happen to be in Hong Kong or Macau why not join in. Hehe…
And last but not least, Calvin here’s a belated birthday shoutout. Happy Birthday bro!

Dreamworks Kung Fu Panda
Watch out for spinning quadruple sidekicks and non-stop kicking and punching actions. But rest assure that there will not be any gory bloody fight scenes as it’s an animated Hollywood martial arts movie. And Jackie Chan plays a monkey. Master Monkey, mind you.
Needless to say it’s set in ancient China and the characters comes in the form of panda, tiger, crane, praying mantis, snake… rhino, tortoise and goose too. Jack Black will be the man behind the “chosen one” and Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie and Lucy Liu are among the voice talents. There are not much information on Kung Fu Panda yet… but the teaser trailer is expected to be shown alongside the screening of Bee Movie on 2nd November 2007. One thing that you can expect from Jack Black is that there will be laughters and occasional tears.

The artwork of the movie looks great and intriguing. Honestly, I caught a glimpse of the key art and it’s makes me wanting to jump up and kick the ceiling board. Duh…

Save this as a wallpaper or to have a closer look at the details. It’s from MovieWallPapers.net
It’s expected to be a summer blockbuster movie for 2008 so go meditate in a cave for a while.

Buy Domains with GoDaddy Coupon Code
For those of you wanting to get a new domain, go to GoDaddy.com and get them there. It’s fast and I have been using it for years. And years went buy, without any knowledge that I could get discount on domain names if I used the coupon codes. It was until Xyiry of xyiry.com told me so. But I already purchased abnerd.com at the usual price USD 9.99. Bummer.
Hehe… all is not lost though. I used the coupon codes to buy two (2) new domains at a discounted price at USD6.95 which was sponkers.com (my bro’s site) and bunnyfairy.com (another blog by my gf and I about rabbits). I saved a little but sikit-sikit jadi bukit ma. Haha…
So if you want to get your own domain, check out these links.

The Wedding Rush
Attended my primary/hometown/childhood friend’s wedding last Saturday. And this time, I was the “guy” ji mui. Was supposed to help out here and there. Had a ji mui dinner gathering the night before and it ended quite early. The real ji muis left when I arrived, leaving only E (the other guy ji mui) around. Had a quick dinner, sat around talking for a while then left the place, bidding goodnight to the bride. Can see that J was a bit nervous with the whole thing.
Arrived at the service apartment the next morning and the girls was inside the room. Being the first guy ji mui to arrive, I waited in the living room. Trying hard to blend into the relative crowd. Goes without saying, I failed. Called E to hasten up and get his ass over. Weirdness crept over me once again when I stepped into the bride’s room. There are no male lame jokes and stuff. It’s all make up and dresses. Felt like I had a spotlight over me, too self conscious I guess. But funny thing is, an auntie commented that E and me looks out of place. We looked younger than we were supposed to compared to the ji muis. Maybe we did not put on any make up, kot. Haha… (Seriously, the auntie said so. Flame her not me)
Fast forward, we were at the wedding dinner, seated and ready to rumble. Had to endure a snippet of Beauty and the Beast cartoon before eating. No Kitaro this time. SN said he attended one with a Superman theme intro. He later said it was Star Wars. Ok le… at least it has a slow build up instead of the adrenaline Superman one. The Superman theme for going up to the hotel room is more appropriate la. Anyway, we “sapu” all our dishes quickly. Soon it was round 2.
The club, Rush was the most accessible and since we already had a few glasses to drink, all agreed. We were forewarned that Rush is now a regular hangout spot for “lala”. But since we had around ten (10+) fellows, it won’t matter right? We have our own group. It would be fun. Well, was I in for a big surprise. The place was so deserted even a car jockey was not in sight. No glow-in-the-dark hand stamps and big burly bouncers. The place looks sad. WTF!!! Don’t say “lala”… “see ham” also don’t have ar. Pathetic. Compared to the crowd that I saw the last time I was there… it’s like heaven and earth. It was many years ago though.
Had a bit more to drink and made a fool of myself till around 2am before we left. Wise decision for Food4Thot and LotD to leave early. Honestly speaking, I did enjoy myself being with my friends after all though the place sucked big time. No Rush.

Bangkok Pixs Part 2
Ok, I know. It’s way overdue but in actual fact the pictures were uploaded for a week now but I never published it. I actually had to remove quite a number of pictures for the sake of loading and scrolling. Enough said… here are the pictures taken from our day two (2) in Bangkok, Thailand. Click here for Bangkok Part 1.
First helping. Forgot about taking my second and third helping. I think there was a fourth.
Skip and we are now at Chatuchak Weekend Market, again.
My fave pic.

There are loads of students trying to make some extra income. Our guitar friend here is one of them.

Me, mountie ranger. Nah, I did not buy this although it’s quite cheap.
100 baht for seven (7) pairs of earring.

Silly photos taken while waiting to negotiate price on t-shirts. If I had a uniform on, gf said I could pass of for some Viet or Burmese. Do I?

Yeah, Firefox supporter.

Dessert time.

Lunch time. More like “snack” time to me.
Hoho… free hugs! You see the guy in costume. There are two (2) of them actually. Those two bigfoots are the ones giving free hugs. My gf went for it but the pictures did not turn out well because it was like a madhouse… they just charged over and gave hugs and cameras went snap snap. It was a funny moment. Hahaha… *zip*

We walked about 15 minutes before we reached LUXX Hotel. It’s located at Patpong area.

Creative way of shadow playing. That’s our room number.

Disney Characters Comes To Life
Well, sort of. Actually it was Annie Leibovitz who breathed life into these classic Disney characters. They are Cinderella, Alice (Alice in Wonderland) and Prince (Sleeping Beauty). It was to promote Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s Year of a Million Dreams campaign. Great shots.
Annie chose Scarlett Johansson as Cinderella, Beyoncé Knowles as Alice and guess who… Beckham as Prince Phillip.
Hot Versus Cool

The next characters up for shooting would be Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and Little Mermaid Ariel. I wonder which lucky celebrity would be chosen to portray them. Definitely not Robin Williams for Peter Pan eh and Julia Roberts for Tinker Bell, though they have the experience. Hehe…
Would shatter loads of childhood fantasies.
