Hehe… did anyone realized that I was absent from my blog lately…
In case none of you did, here are my excuses anyway.

  1. Still in holiday mood.
  2. Shifted to a new place.
  3. Office work to clear.
  4. Election 2008… I decide.

Yeah yeah… I know, Chinese New Year ended long time ago… but hey… talks of having trips so very often among your friends just keep the flame going. In fact, I have a weekend trip coming up end of this month.
Ho Silver!

Yup I shifted to a new place. Previous tenancy contract ended… sigh… it’s like an annual thing, this shifting. Very tiring and troublesome. Previous landlord had intention to sell the house but never mentioned it to us. But it’s settled now. I have moved from the master bedroom to a medium sized room. A small cut on rental a bit cut on floorspace. Am not complaining though, don’t get me wrong. It just means I have less place to clean up. Haha…
New place is quite windy so far and we are facing a huge park. No obstructing adjacent building. When evening comes, the wind just wraps you around. Aaa… Alas, my computer monitor have decided to go kaput. It had been with me since 2000 till now. Am gonna miss it. My housemate advised me to go get a second hand monitor for like RM100 with a 3 month warranty. Think will do just that, though I have my doubts.

Yup. Work is piling up and needs clearing so I don’t really have time to click around and poke my nose. Short and simple. Do not want to elaborate on it.

Moving on to the hottest topic today. I never used to like to expose myself to politics as I perceive it in a … you know, way. For this particular election though, I was turned around, by cyberspace. Spent a considerable amount of time going through political blogs and independent news source, finally some non-government controlled media. Yes, the opposition gained a lot of new grounds this time through internet and hope that they will continue doing so in years to come so that we can be updated ever so often.
To those BN ignorants, hope that this be a tight slap or several slaps that wake you up from your slumber. Eat your words. When the leader sleeps and goes honeymoon so does the whole cabinet. Hopefully this will get them to sit straight and do what they are suppose to do. Back out and let the one who can work come in.

Any of you watched NTV7 for the election results? I did. With my parents. I particularly enjoyed the conversation between the host (forgot her name) and Honey Tan (All Women’s Action Society (Awam) representative). Yeah, pay no attention to the so called professor from UKM who mumbled and stumbled with his answers every time. That freak eyebrowed fellow irked me so much that I decided to shower when he spoke. The heat was getting turned on by Honey Tan and the host during the later part of the show. More sensitive issues were being discussed and Honey just spoke out with insinuating remarks. Never thought that I would enjoy shows like these and for once the debate was not one sided… apple polishing the Government. The “professor” had his tail in between his legs all the time trying to sweeten up his answers and beat around the bush. At the end of every answer, it seemed that it was even more confusing. Both the host and Honey proved to be more captivating and outspoken with the latter touching a lot on women rights issues and current society subjects. Wonder if the Opposition party will try and rope her in. Alas, both of them were taken off the show later and replaced because the topics were getting a bit out of hand for the people-who-controls-the-media. Sucks… I really wanted to hear what Honey has to say about the outcome in Rembau.

Am so glad I made my choice this year. This proves to the other skeptics that together we do make a difference. Every vote counts. Although it was not enough to garner much for the Opposition in Johore but hey it made a difference compared to the years before. Muar was the one and only area that went to the Opposition party which was quite shocking to many, and it proved that BN is losing their footing there and I honestly and truly believed Muar’s homeboy called Namewee did a huge part with all his songs and music videos. And now that the DAP has won it for Muar I am wishing that this will give Namewee some inspiration to come up with a new song that could be a sub theme song to be played along DAP’s Just Change.

I heard those who goes back to Kelantan to vote for BN gets RM200. They really do. Thats money politics for you. But let us see what changes can the Opposition bring to the 5 states that they have in their hands and let us cross our fingers for the better. Something inside me tells me that it will be hard too as others will definitely provide loads of barricades and obstacles for them.

Oh and have you heard? The tyrant who used to be Port Klang’s assemblyman is now a past tense forever. Yeah Zakaria… no I will not refer him as Datuk… suffered a heart attack and gone straight to, definitely not heaven if you ask me. Lucky him, if not he will have a lot to deal with especially with all his obvious evil doings.

I think I will have extra helping at lunch today. My appetite seemed to be good.

Actually am sorry for those who come by ever so often to look for updates. Thanks for dropping by again!
