Yeah it’s finally here. So what’s in plan to usher in the year? I won’t be going anywhere for countdown as I detest the crazed sweaty crowd and insane traffic. Rather chill out at home. Erm… having a sprained back does make me feel sucky about the celebration too. Hurt it yesterday when I was lifting a pail of water. Aaa… I have to walk really straight and sit upright too. Rolling like a pig in mud when on bed is also a no no. Two patches of SalonPas did not work wonders too. So I have decided to get the bottle of medicated oil from Clarzy later tonight. Worse come to worse I will take a capful of it before I sleep. Feel the burning sensation trail down my throat and staying there till I float into a state of swirling semi-consciousness.
My 2007 was not that bad. Considered that I had worst in the ones before. Actually it was pretty awesome and it took a somewhat unexpected turn when my “single bird membership” expired. Am currently enjoying all the “lovey dovey membership” perks and hopefully more to come in. Healthwise could be better as I tend to fall ill easily nowadays. And I don’t like the idea of getting too friendly with doctors. Ouch… turning my head hurts now. My neck…
I never did any new year resolution so I don’t think I will start now. Would be better if I make changes as I deem fit. All right all right… I do have something in my mind that I would like to accomplish for the coming months. But it’s in my little black book which I adore for it’s size and paper quality. One of it is to read more. So I have picked up two books when I was back in my hometown. All the reading I have done so far has been a little of blogs, newspaper, blogs, magazines and blogs. Sort of in that order. Here are the two piece of bounded material.

Read a few short stories already. I can’t read chinese so this is the best I could to relate. Am enjoying it.

I was never a keen reader. So… the best I did in recent years was of the Potter literature.
No spoiler please.
Well, my way of welcoming the 2008 seems to pale in comparison with people that I know of. It’s either boozing and shaking bon bons or feeling other people’s bon bons till the wee hours, huddled up with other sweaty bodies watching fireworks or movie marathons. Mine would mostly be finishing a chapter or two of the book and I might even go online and check my MSN list to see which other miserable fellow decided to stay home for countdown. ![]()
Nah… I don’t think mine will be that dull anyway. Things always manage to pop up and surprise me… sometimes.
Enjoy ya!
