Can you guess what it is? No… it’s not sweets. Would have given you some pathetic marks if you said chewing gum though. But not close enough.
The design is quite cool eh. It’s a tin can and that means you won’t need to chuck it away after the contents are exhausted. Still unable to make heads or tails of it?

Our vision is to make it socially acceptable to purchase condoms without the associated embarrassment of buying and carrying condoms.
Love-Box is made to be a fashion item where the designs change seasonally. Every Love-Box is a small piece of art that you can carry around as a gentle reminder on a careful and responsible behaviour towards sex.
Our intention is to create a condom packaging that is prestigious, rather than embarrassing, to buy. Show it off or keep it in your bag, purse or drawer. Love-Box are small and sleek packages – making it easy and safe to carry with you anytime, anywhere.
Our goal is to create a universe without taboo, full of tips on how to enjoy the exciting world of dating.
Love-Box supports organizations that focus on improving knowledge ofcontraception and safe sex.
They have 3 type with the given name of Funky Impression, Energetic Sensation and Urban Freedom. Each with 8 different cool designs. Spotted it in Watsons so far and according to the site, Singapore has been hit recently.
Mmm… when you finish using it and instead of disposing the box you might wanna fill it up with TicTac and give it to your nephews and nieces right?

I think I read somewhere, someone complained that this advertisement was like displayed near schools and that’s inappropriate. Well, I think this will better carry the sex education over to the kids. Its better if it makes them more willing to buy this than to have unprotected sex. I don’t think they will engage in pre-marital sex less if they don’t see the advert anyway.

well, my initial gut feeling when reading the short version of the post “Ni musti kondom ni..” hehe. I do agree with Jeslyn though. I think, no matter how good or clever the design/marketing, it will always be an issue here in Malaysia. hmmm…

Yup… agree with the both of you. Anyway how you view it, the sex issue is sensitive and will always create an uproar among the society but hey it beats having teenage mums and spread of AIDS if they do it more openly. Malaysia’s sex education is still in its infancy stage and has been that way since *i don’t know when*. So far the educating has been left to the dvd peddlers and internet.

Interesting. But once the brand catches on, won’t the embarrassment return?

I have read somewhere that the condom pores diametre is much bigger than the HIV. Especially, when it is stretched…So can you imagine how the viruses will be easily get into. So, avoiding free sex is still the best way.
